Stand Up for a Cure is a New York State 501c3 non-profit organization dedicated to raising funds and awareness for cancer research and treatment as well as allied diseases and relevant political and medical issues. Originally founded to specifically raise funds for lung cancer research, Stand Up for a Cure has expanded its reach based on various partnerships with other non profits and organizations.

Our mission is to raise funds which are allocated to various organizations that show the most evidence-based promise for successful outcomes- both clinically and in research. In addition, we offer various proprietary services which include a mobile medical unit to provide services to patients who are uninsured and/or meet certain financial criteria.

Our passion and initiative are embedded in our personal and professional experience. Our constituents are physicians, nurses and families affected by the issues which we address in our work. As a result, our message and voice are honest and pure and resonate with the urgency which exists.
