STAND UP FOR A CURE 2008 CONCERT SERIES ANNOUNCED- INITIATIVE DESIGNED TO RAISE AWARENESS & FUNDS

Jerry Seinfeld and other comics will do standup at the Hammerstein Ballroom Oct. 11 to raise money for Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center’s lung cancer research, spearheaded by MSK’s president & CEO, Nobel Prize recipient Dr. Harold Varmus, who has dedicated his life to this research.  The cast of “30 Rock” will hang with guests at the after party, and Al Roker will co-host.
